Uncanny Vision (founded in 2013) is a Bengaluru-based AI / computer-vision startup that builds real-time video analytics & vision-AI solutions for edge devices — smart cameras, surveillance, smart cities etc. It was founded by Ranjith Parakkal and Navaneethan Sundaramoorthy. Before being acquired, the team size was ~ 60 employees.

• In 2021, Uncanny Vision was acquired by Eagle Eye Networks, bringing its AI/camera analytics tech, R&D capabilities, and their Bangalore team
• Products deployed in many use-cases: smart parking, toll automation, retail analytics, worker & ATM safety, perimeter security.
• Several awards & recognition: Qualcomm Design in India Challenge (2016), winner in RAISE Responsible AI for Social Empowerment (2020). Raised ~ US$ 6 million.
• Deployed in Kerala for the GST department (vehicle number / category capture across multiple locations), toll / highway automation, etc.
